My name is Theuns du Plooy, and my passion for traditional pizza ovens began way back in 1989. I set up, ran and owned Ristorantes, an Italian restaurant that gave me my education and hands-on experience in cooking with a wood-burning pizza oven. Years later, I took everything that I had learnt and loved about them, combined it with my technical background, and turned it into a business - and Iʼve never looked back.
